Franklin comes to Tainted Love from the Dominican Republic by way of New York. It was In New York that he discovered "AC DC" and fell in love with their raucous brand of rock. Since his dad refused to buy him a drum set he gravitated toward the guitar. It wasn't long before he joined his first band. At the tender age of 14 he was ready for the road. A steady diet of ROCK gigs brought Chi Chi to the bay area in 1998.

He and his roommate started the band "Pop Rocks" in 1999 and he has been tearing up the bay area stages ever since then!
