Doug began playing the drums at the tender age of 7. His parents recognized his propensity for rhythm and enlisted him in lessons and purchased him a beat up old Ludwig drum kit. He first began his career at the age of 13 playing Rodeo's with a bunch of old guys. From then on it has been a steady diet of gigs. He has been involved in the bay area music scene for the last 20 years. His credits include recording and touring with Greg Kihn, Pride and Joy, Super Diamond as well as many National and Local TV and Radio spots. He continues to record with various original artists in the bay area. He also owns DCP recording and records and produces bay area bands in his studio.
