San Francisco - Pier 39 - 4th of July, 2010!
Tainted Love performed a free, 3 set concert on Sunday, July 4th, 2010 at the entrance of Pier 39 in San Francisco. Starting promptly at 6 p.m., they used their first set to excite the crowd. By the second set, the crowd was dancing, shouting, fist-pumping and singing along! Tainted Love are absolute professionals, not missing a beat or producing a sour note despite the fact that it was very cold that evening. It was a trip to see their keyboardist hold his hands up to their hot stage lights in between his playing. Their lead guitarist plays through a Dumble amp, which are extremely hard to come by. And Brett, their female lead vocalist, was amazing! Her stand outs were "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Alone." If you have not seen this band, and you love 80's pop and rock songs, run, don't walk, to their next performance!

Re: San Francisco - Pier 39 - 4th of July, 2010!
Thanks, Glen! We always have a blast at Pier 39 on the 4th! This year was no exception. Fog and all! You are right about Commander Moon. He is very resourceful when it comes to keeping those fingers warm and limber. He's a master!
